The bureau of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee held an online informal meeting on 24 June 2020.

We remain fully committed to maintaining the intensity of parliamentary contacts and providing input in the run-up to the forthcoming EU-Ukraine and Eastern Partnership summit meetings. In the coming months, we will assess together the opportunities for an update of the Association Agreement, including in the trade area, and for further sectoral integration of Ukraine into the EU. One of the goals will be to help both the EU and Ukrainian economies to recover after the pandemic crisis. We furthermore hope for the signature of the Common Aviation Area between Ukraine and the EU and for the launch of formal discussions on the Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products (ACAA).[...]
